Our emphasis is focused on preventative health care, including annual exams, heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention and treatment. We offer a variety of heartworm medications and external parasite products and do our best to tailor a program that fits both the patient and the owner. Another area of importance involves diet. Striving to stay current on the nutritional needs of our patients, our staff encourages healthy weight management and specialized diets for numerous medical conditions. We offer Hill’s Science and Prescription Diets and Royal Canin diets.
The doctors recommend laboratory blood work prior to surgery and especially for all patients seven years and older. We offer a variety of surgical services and routinely administer pre and post-surgical pain medication along with pain control dispensed with the patient upon returning home. Our in-house laboratory can quickly test for a number of health parameters which gives the doctors a better diagnostic assessment and hopefully a quicker return to health. Digital radiology allows us to get excellent X-Ray information quickly and efficently.
