    Eugene Ervin
    D.V.M.

    Dr. Ervin is a native of southwest Missouri, graduating from Bolivar High School in 1987, and did his undergraduate work at Missouri State University in Springfield. He is a 1994 graduate of the University of Missouri Veterinary Teaching Hospital. He has special interest in surgery, particularly orthopedics, along with diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of diseases and pets. Dr Ervin is only at GVAC a few days a month, he can be found most offten as an emergency doctor at Blue Pearl in Lee's Summit. He currently lives near Leeton with his wife and five children, four cats, two dogs and three goats.

    D.V.M

    Dr Brian is a native Missourian from  the town California. Graduated from Missouri State University. Dr Brian owned and operated his own practice in Jefferson City for numerous years, practicing medicine for both large and small animal. Seeking out a more relaxed pace of life he found himself and his family moving out to the Truman Lake area.

    With her love for animals, she doesn't consider her job work, and probably spends more time outside than inside.  When she's not spending time with her critters, or family & friends, she enjoys gardening, woodworking, and BBQ.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Vanessa has worked at a vet clinic for 4 years and a dog daycare and training for 2 years and immensely loves working with animals.  Making residence in Missouri now, GVAC has decided to add her spunky personality to the staff.

    Part-Time Receptionist

    Cindy had been working with an equestrian practice for several years before moving to the area with her husband. She works part time as a receptionist and enjoys helping with kennel whenever possible.

    Kennel Assistant

    Dakota joined the GVAC team in Sept 2020. She loves learning new things and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She loves spending time with family and friends. Currently resides in Windsor with her husband and their rescue cat Mo. In her spare time she enjoys keeping tarantulas and learning all about them as well as anything involving crafts.

    Riley is currently attending high school and involved in several after school activities. She assists with kennels on weekends and is able to help assist doctors and front desk.

    Trinity graduated from Lakeland High School and was very active in several after school activities such as FFA, FTA, and NHS. Currently she is attending State Fair Community College and working part time at two jobs. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors.

    Renae Palmer has been an animal groomer for 16 years. She has been an animal lover her whole life. Your furbabies comfort and safety is priority during grooming. Your pet will receive and spa experience. Grooms include bath nails ears and trims.She has experience in most breed cuts. Grooming pets 45 pounds and less.

    Greeters (clinic cats)

    This two boys are usually out roaming the clinic and getting into things. They work hard at keeping things off the counters and do a pretty good job of investigating carriers. They are all mild mannered but watch out they can be 'catty' at times.
